Warranty & Quality

At Maraux we stand by the quality of every piece. All jewellery is covered by our 365-day warranty against manufacturing faults.

What's covered: clasps or fastenings that fail, stones that come loose from their setting, solder joints or links that break under normal wear, faulty earring posts or findings, and gold vermeil that flakes or peels rather than wearing gradually.

What's not covered: normal wear of the gold layer and tarnishing (all plating wears over time), chains snapped by snagging or pulling, damage from perfume, chlorine, salt water or not following our care guide, repairs done elsewhere, stones lost from knocks, resizing, and loss.

Approved warranty claims receive a replacement, or store credit if the piece is out of stock. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. Full warranty details.

ONLINE DISPATCH: Orders placed before 9am AEST Monday - Friday will be shipped same or next day. Orders placed after this timeframe will ship the following day. More information on timeframes & services here.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: Changed your mind? Let us know within 30 days of delivery and we'll exchange your piece or give you store credit. Pieces must be unworn and in their original box, and return postage is at your cost. Earrings (for hygiene reasons), sale and promotional items, and gift cards can't be returned for change of mind.

What is Maraux Jewellery made from?

Every Maraux piece is crafted from solid sterling silver, with all of our rings finished in a luxurious layer of 18k gold vermeil. This combination gives each piece a rich, enduring glow — outlasting regular plated jewellery.

How do I know my ring size?

Great question! There are two options. See our Ring Size Guide, or order our free ring sizing kit and we'll post it to you at no cost.

And if your ring still isn't quite right, our Perfect Fit Promise means we'll exchange it for your correct size within 30 days, with postage covered both ways. It just needs to be unworn apart from trying on.

Why does Maraux use sterling silver instead of cheaper metals?

Because we believe jewellery should last longer than a trend. Sterling silver is a precious metal — durable, elegant, and naturally hypoallergenic.

It won’t peel, flake, or turn your skin green or black. So you won't be left with nasty marks on your hands and green jewellery.

Can I wear my Maraux jewellery in water?

Your Maraux pieces can be worn in the shower. However, we recommend avoiding doing this everyday and also avoid mineral hot springs, chlorinated pools, and harsh chemicals such as perfumes, alcohol-based products, and cleaning agents.

These can slowly wear down the 18k gold vermeil or plating finish over time.

Treat your jewellery with a little care, and it will continue to shine with effortless elegance for years.

Orders within Australia will take 3-5 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-21 business days.
